Immerse in a sound bath!

We share an ageless bond with sound. Right from birth, in fact even before we are born, we are hearing various kinds of sounds. Many sounds become so much a part of our daily life that we form a relationship with them. When we listen to a favourite song or hear the voice of a favourite person, we feel happy. What if sound provided medicine along with happiness?

Yes, it is true. By using sound, you can overcome many diseases, mainly those afflicting the mind. The practice of healing through sound is not new at all. It is deeply rooted in cultures around the world. Currently, everyone is talking about the new method of treatment  — sound bath. If you use it under expert guidance, you can surely reap its benefits and find peace.

What is Sound Bath

Basically, a sound bath is a form of meditation where people in attendance bathe in sound waves. These waves are produced through various sources including various instruments as well as equipment such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion instruments, chimes, rattles, tuning forks as well as the human voice.

Specific music

A different type of music is played on such occasions. It’s not like the music that you listen to at a rock concert or symphony. Instead, instruments and voices are carefully selected along with remarkable resonance or intonation.

Method of treatment

During the sound bath, the participants are made to lie on their back. A better result can be obtained if the participants lie down like they do in Shavasana, a part of yoga. Then, the sound healing experts gear up for the treatment. As mentioned above, coaches produce sounds using various instruments and equipment. The participant is made to hear these sounds. Sometimes these treatments are given to individuals and at times to groups. Sounds are produced through chanting, sounds of instruments, sounds of equipment and positive waves are released through that.

Benefits from treatment

  • Positive energy is generated through various sound waves.
  • Sound gives feelings
  • Peace of mind is obtained.
  • It helps to get rid of anxiety and worry.
  • It helps relieve pain.
